John
Lyons' panels are the only panels on the market made of
aluminized steel. Aluminized steel combines the strength of
steel
with the lightweight and rust resistance of aluminum. The cost
of aluminized steel is higher than galvanized steel, But is
a
third or more lighter, just as strong, and more rust resistant.
John Lyons' panels are welded at all points of contact, with
no
spot welds, rounded corners, bent pipe, or flat pieces of metal
with sharp edges.
The
drop pin system used for connecting panels is stronger
than regular clamped panels. They are also easier to take down
or move, and are safer for horses. If for some reason a horse
does get caught, they can be taken apart quickly.
All
John Lyons' panels have center support braces made of
the same 2" pipe as the panel, form fitted into the panel
for extra
strength. Panels are completely rounded with no sharp edges
to cut the horse or the rider.
John's
panels are portable. Moving heavy panels can be a
major project, taking hours of your time. Since our panels are
extremely light and easy to handle, moving the round pen is
a much easier
job!
Our
new pin system is designed to be easier to maneuver and
set up the round pen. It also holds the pen in the exact location
on the panel. They cannot be removed from the panel they are
installed on, and so this prevents loss of pins.
